Welcome to the all-new Split-Magazine.com! As you can see, apart from the modified design, the new site also features a bunch of new features. You can now browse for previously published articles by their individual categories (Album Reviews, Features, Live, etc.), as well as by month and year of publication. You can also search for articles about your favourite band or album, using our brand new search engine.

The current “issue” of the magazine features reviews of Buddha Blown’s self-titled mini disc, and The Cure’s classic album “The Head on the Door” in The Epics section. You can also read an exclusive interview with Delhi-based alt. rock outfit Descant, who talk about their recently released album ‘Mad Ambition’ in our For The Record section.

And if that’s not enough, you can download two songs, “Inert” and “Crop” from Medusa’s recently-released EP, ‘Survival Off The Fittest”. Medusa is one of Mumbai’s best new metal bands, and play what can loosely be termed as industrial metal.
